Finding tickets for Tendulkar's last Ranji match a treasure hunt all 8000 tickets already been booked.

The Ranji Trophy encounter between Haryana and Mumbai at Lahli from Oct 27-30 will mark the beginning of Sachin Tendulkar's farewell from cricket, before he finally leaves the field in the second Test, his 200th, against West Indies in Mumbai.

Understandably, the tickets for the Lahli game have turned into a treasure. According to a report in the Hindustan Times, BCCI's media in-charge Gaurav Virmani has said that all tickets for the 8000-capacity stadium have already been booked.

"Tickets will be given to those who have got themselves registered with officials concerned at the Lahli stadium," Virmani told .

Earlier, BCCI treasurer Anirudh Chaudhry had said that preference will be given to the residents of Lahli and those living nearby, which was reiterated by the Rohtak parliamentarian Deepender Singh Hooda. However, BCCI officials and district administration have now said that those registered with them will get the tickets. Villagers questioned that since the stadium was closed all the time, when were the names registered, the newspaper reported.
